Pu-erh tea is made from large camellia sinensis leaves. There are two types of pu-erh tea: Green Pu-erh (also known as Raw Pu-erh or Sheng Pu-erh) and Cooked Pu-erh (also known as Ripened Pu-erh or Shu Pu-erh). Pu-erh can be enjoyed immediately, or can be aged for years -- the quality changes with time much like a fine wine.
